Hey Oxford bands and musicians! Would you like an opportunity to get your music heard by filmmakers, producers, and music supervisors? Here's your chance!
The Oxford Film Festival brings in many filmmakers and other film industry professionals. We want to help you get your music into their hands.
We are putting together an official Oxford Film Festival CD, featuring songs by regional bands and musicians. Each filmmaker and special guest of the festival will receive a free copy of the CD during the 2008 festival. The CD will also be on sale to the public during the film festival, February 7-10, 2008.
If you would like one of your songs to be included on the festival CD, please submit a CD with your song to Anne Pitts (P.O. Box 1394, Oxford MS 38655) by December 20, 2007. Tell us which song you want considered for the CD and provide us with the recording and publishing information as well as your contact information.
If we select your song, we will contact you and provide you with a gratis license agreementfor the limited purpose of distributing the film festival compilation CD to filmmakers and industry professionals, and making the remaining CDs available at the Oxford Film Festival venues.
100% of any sales of the film festival CD will solely benefit the non-profit Oxford Film Festival.
