At long last, after years of begging, Comedy Central is finally (FINALLY) releasing Blackballed: The Bobby Dukes Story on DVD, after a limited theatrical release. Order your own copy here.

Though the Oxford Film Festival keeps a library of all the films we show, there are some films that, for various reasons, we have to send back to the distributor. Blackballed was one of those films, even though we loved it and everyone wanted to borrow it from us. The best we could do was to bring Brent and Darren back for a second year for an encore screening (though in 2005, it was Darren and Jesse), and if anything, that whetted the appetite of even more people, banging on our door asking to borrow the video.
So, thankfully, we can all get our own copy, to play until we hear it in our sleep.
