It's moo-vies, it's moo-vies!

Today at the Oxford Film Festival, we are re-playing our festival winners and favorites. It promises to be one of our busiest days, since we'll be playing the "best" of everything. But it's also a bittersweet day, because it's when all the filmmakers start to trickle back to Memphis to fly home. It's time to say goodbye, and start counting receipts....

We were priviledged to have over 30 filmmakers attending, all of whom seemed to enjoy themselves. We have certainly enjoyed getting to know both them and their work.

We won't get our official stats on ticket sales from Malco until Monday, but we could never have anticipated the response we received. It was all beyond our wildest dreams, and we still have one more day to go. We are almost out of t-shirts!

I had hoped to blog the festival, but that just was not possible. Too many fires to put out. But we expect to have some fantastic photos from the weekend that I hope to post soon. Maybe next year, I can outsource that...every year we learn something!
